The mission of the Geronimo Springs Alternative School is to provide an alternative pathway for students ages 16 and up to achieve a high school diploma, equivalency, or GED, while also preparing them for a successful integration into today's workforce and society.

HiSET Program
A flexible testing pathway covering five core subjects, including Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Move at your own pace, complete practice tests, and earn your high school equivalency diploma once all exams are passed.
GED Program
A streamlined path to your diploma through four subject exams, including Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Testing options include in-person or online proctoring, with support to help you prepare and succeed.
NEDP
A non-traditional, test-free pathway designed for real-life learning. Complete guided modules at your own pace while building skills in areas like financial literacy, health, and core academics, earning your diploma through demonstrated knowledge rather than exams.

sierra driving school - heather williams The GSAPP program has an MOU with the Sierra Driving School and its instructor, Heather Williams. SDS offers Driver’s Education Courses 2-3 times a year to assist out-of-school students with obtaining their official driver’s licenses. The GSAPP program will update its students when these classes are offered. There is a fee to be paid to SDS in order to take the classes and receive their permits.
truth or consequences public libraryThe GSAPP program is partnered with the TorC Public Library to help provide resources for individuals who are attempting their high school equivalency diplomas on their own. Their website has a multitude of information, resources, links, documents, and programs geared towards the individual learner. They can offer online access and computer usage, program utilization, and reference material supplemental to the GSAPP program.
america's job center - wioa programFormerly New Mexico Workforce Solutions, the GSAPP program works alongside the WIOA program, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, to assist students with life skills, career readiness, and employment. Students are eligible if they are between the ages of 16 and 24, regardless of their educational status. This is a great program to enroll in alongside the GSAPP program, as many of the goals from each program align, and students can get more support between them.
